Let's see how far we've come
Here are some pics of Baby Girl Sheehan that were taken on Friday (30 weeks 4 days). She was a model for a video that they are making for the psychology department at Emory that showcases the research that professors are doing. This project looks at blood flow in brain while the mother is talking. Dr. Eugene Emory heads up the project.
Here is the regular ultrasound of her profile.
Here is the 3D shot of her face and her trying to put her hands in front of her face.
This is her face (normal ultrasound) - her nose looks squished but its just the image.
Okay so this is her 3D boxer pose

Have you seen her? Tell me have you seen her...
Where have you been, you ask? Well, I have been busy growing a baby and working my butt off in my lab...but here is a snippet of other things that have happened.
1. I still haven't found time to look at our pictures from Alaska - but I will...soon...and I will post some of them here.
2. We have been to a few concerts: Travis (who played both Hit me baby one more time, and Back in Black - amazing concert!!) and a combined Allman Brothers and Dave Matthews Band (this one was outside with 55000 people - but still a wonderful time was had by all and my compliments to MARTA transportation for being prepared enough to cart that many people around the city with no delays, whatsoever, oh and mom came too)
3. Pregnancy-wise: we are at 31 weeks on monday, baby is doing good except she is waking me up at weird times (like now at 5 am on a saturday). Yesterday I go to have an extra ultrasound because I volunteered to be a fake research subject for a video they are making to raise funds for the psyc dept. One of the professors here (Dr. Eugene Emory) does work looking at fetal responses to the mothers voice using ultrasound and fetal blood flow in the brain. The technician took extra time at the end so I could get some good images (some in 3D) and a video of the baby. I will post some of those here as soon as I get them scanned and such. It was great because I had some things to bring home and show Luda-dan because he had to work. She is upside down and constantly moving but looking in good shape. I got to see her hands and feet, verified she is a girl, her heart beating, her practicing the movements of swallowing and breathing, and her boxing. Holy Moley - I am having a baby!! We are going to childbirth crash course today.
4. We went to Destin and sat on the beach for a weekend - totally relaxing!
5. The rest of my time has been spent in the lab or trying to relax. Carrying the baby around at this point is making me extra tired and sore. I scheduled a prenatal massage for sunday. Dan is being pretty sensitive to my needs and trying to help but I am really just in a state of overall discomfort.
6. Oh, yeah and I had a gestational diabetes scare but it turned out okay. My first test I failed so I had to come back and do another longer test, where you sit there for 3 hours and they draw your blood every hour. I passed the second test but it did make us anxious.

How much is that doggie in the window?
I know that I should not laugh at his behavior and I hope that he truly realizes what he did was wrong (because I did not believe that televised BS apology) but this email forward is too funny:
I don't normally send these things along, but I thought the seriousness of the issue warranted your immediate help. It has been reported that the University of Georgia's beloved mascot, UGA, is missing. The last known picture of UGA is attached please see if you can help the University of Georgia find their mascot.
